Update

Hello everyone,
God is good and He answers prayers! Remember I told you guys yesterday about Lexie’s stressors regarding plans being changed. Well, after much prayer, Lexie and Porter finally get to talk on the radio and he told Lexie that he had to take a little walk in the jungle to pray about what is best for the family and whether to go along with the Williamson’s (Dave and Melissa) changed of plans. He finally decided that they will just stick to their own original plan which means moving to the tribe as planned (March 14). The Williamson’s on the other hand, instead of moving on the 10th of March as originally planned, they will move on the 26th instead. Porter probably realized that 2 weeks wait for their teammate to arrive is not going to be a big difference than putting his family on all the changes of plans. So, that is where it stands. The guys will be back in town tomorrow. Today, they will finish up putting the gable on the other side and maybe put the beam if they think they will have time to start roofing today. If they don’t have time then Porter will just wait and put it later. Just to give you the picture (and hopefully we will send you a picture via e-mail when they return tomorrow) the house is standing now but is just the frame or skeleton of the house. There are so much more to be done. When they move on the 14th, they will set up a tent for them to live in while the house is being finished. This setting will be easier for them than Porter going back and forth to be with his family. Me and Lexie had a good talk last night while everybody is in bed. She seems to be ready to get started and be with the people they wanted to be with to share God’s love. She is so appreciative of our presence here and of the time we spent with her. It’s great to hear that coz I felt like we did not do much other than helping with the guest house cleaning and being with her. But she made sure that we know how grateful she is that we get to be with her during Porter’s absence. I felt a lot better after hearing that.The ladies are suppose to go on a special trip today without the kids but Midian, however, it did not happen coz Reece got sick in the middle of the night throwing up, going to the bathroom a lot (I don’t want to be specific) and running a fever. All the MK kids in our compound has been getting the same thing. It is either the flu, malaria or some kind of virus we can’t figure out. Please pray that none of us will pick it up. It will be awful to travel with the sickness. That’s not gonna be a good sight. So pray for continues good health for us. Although I heard that Jason had a mild case of the “bathroom thing-y” yesterday, Porter said he will be okay since Gwen sent him a pill to take if that happens. So, Mary you don’t need to worry about him.

Today, I will just go the the Women;s fellowship (not sure if Gwen and Rita are going). This is a once in a while fellowship for the women just whenever some of the ladies come down from the tribe to visit and others moving up there then they get together for fellowship. I thought I will join them and meet the rest of the women I have not met last Sunday during our fellowship. That’s all for now, I had to get ready before Melissa get’s here to pick me up.
