Well a lot has happened since I last posted. I have a lot of pics but not enough time so just wanted to update.Cross Country is over and so is cheerleading. The football team went undefeated during the season and they won the Superbowl. Jase is in gymnastics and lovin it. He continues to do pretty well health wise. He Had to have on Nov. 17th and EGD(scope into the stomach),Bronchoscopy(scope into the lungs) and a 24 hour PH probe placed. The procedure went well. We didn't end up in the ICU this time. We did have to spend the night but in a regular room. Structurally everthing looked good. There was a little redness around the vocal cords suggesting reflux(which was the reason behind all this--to rule out or in reflux). The PH probe is the size of a spaghetti noodle and it is placed down the nose into the stomach were it has to remain for 24 hours. It was taped to his face and behind his ear then connected to a recording device to monitor the PH in his stomach. He did pretty well until that night. He was sound aslepp and sat up, opened his eyes, and ripped the whole tube out tape and all and threw it in the floor. Luckily it had been down more than 12 hours so they didn't put down another one. We were supposed to go to the GI doctor tommorrow for the results, but they called last week and are having trouble with the recording machine. So they moved the visit to 2 more weeks. Please pray that they won't have to do the probe again,b/c it will be down int he office while he is awake then we take him home. The lung test came back positive for reflux and bacteria so he is on another antibiotic. Once again he had a pretty strong bug in his lungs and showed no outward signs-we only found it by doing this. So hopefully this will be the last procedure he has to endure.
Tyra got her braces off and looks so grownup. She is going to be the Jr. bridesmaid this week for my little sister Amelia's wedding. She continues to do well in school.
Haylee is about to lose her 4th tooth. She is missing the top 2 and sings all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth. She is going to be one of the flower girls in Amelia's wedding. This will be her third time so she is an old pro. She is an avid reader and still a know it all. If you want to know what is going on-ask Haylee. She had her Aliens performance 2 weeks ago and it was really cute. She was a dancing Queen.
Jase is all boy. He is into anything with wheels, football, baseball, and wants to wrestle us all. He usually wins. He loves Batman. He con't figure out the whole Santa thing and when he sees pictures of Santa he thinks it God. He did go see Santa on Saturday and loved it but later he looked at the picture and asked me if it was God. Too cute. Since Haylee is losing teeth he wants us to pull his.
Well this kinda sums it up. We had a great Thanksgiving. Jason's Nana,Papa,Uncle Bobby came in from Memphis. I went shopping at 5:45am on Black Friday with my sister and sister-in-law and had a good time. Then we had family day on saturday-me and Jason took the kids to see Santa, pick out a new ornament and to see Madagascar II(so cute). We put up the tree and lights and had lots of fun. Hope everyone else had a great time to.
I do want to remember my sister Krisitin and brother-in-law Jeff who's dad passed away unexpectedly the day before Thanksgiving.
Also my younger brother Richy just graduated from the Air Force basic training. Way to go Rich!!
And to Amelia and Chris who tie the knot this Saturday!congratulations!Love you all.
