Our 7th Anniversary

We rarely have a day where all of us are home at one time. So on Sunday after church we decided to head to the mountains and find a place to play in the river. We found a neat little spot and as you can see from the pictures the water was really low and the kids had so much fun. The water was freezing and I thought that Jase would hate it but he was the one laying on his belly in the water. Most of you know that Jason is scared of snakes so he is always looking out for them(I think he conjures them up). Well we had one swim up about ten feet away from us. It was about 2 feet long and about the size of a dime around. The kids thought it was great once they could actually find it in the water. Anyway Jason made us leave after that. We had a great day, even though Jason said he couldn't believe we were spending our anniversary at the river.
